Over the years the Marimac group has experienced a phenomenal growth that outpaced the competitors. To maintain this competitive edge and to meet its ever-increasing demand, the production facilities have been upgraded and in 2006, the Marimac acquired a plant in Iroquois, Ontario.
This plant constitutes the flagship of our production facilities; it is the biggest and contains state of the art machinery. It produces comforters at an unparallel rate of 15,000 units per day. At the same time, by dividing the process between china and Canada we have achieved a unit cost that competes and beats outsourced comforters’ price.
Iroquois is in line with the group’s belief in Canadian made products and Canadian skills and will boost the local economy through offering hundreds of new jobs.
